This isn’t the first time I’ve seen it, but the first one irritates me a little. Not because a tribute to politics from A-list celebrities isn’t touching, but because so few of them can sing worth beans.
The second one is just hilarious.

Wow, please really have time on their hands. That McCain version is too funny. Sad, but funny.

Welcome, Nilda!
I think I read somewhere that you’re a strong Obama supporter. If these videos accurately portray the contrast we can look forward to in the general election, I think we’re in pretty good shape.

I’m not a big fan of really any of the artists in the YES WE CAN video, and think it might be kind of twee and self indulgent – but was still moved by it because every time I hear Obama speak I’m drownin in inspired and hopeful tears everytime he gets to the “Yes We Can” part and usually say it along with him even though it makes my dog look at me like I’m crazy. I had thought that the last eight years had stolen the hope from me and if Obama does nothing else but giving it back to me I still say that’s pretty impressive for a young leader….
