And, gee, at 15 minutes that just might be a new Thursday Morning Riddle record! I guess that’s what I get for sleeping in this morning.
Line 1: Refers to the musical note and key of G
Line 2: G-rated movie; “Air on the G String” – a Bach composition, adapted to be played on the G string of a violin
Line 3: A lift is an elevator in Great Britain, where the first floor is called the ground floor (and the second floor is the first floor), so “G” would be a low button on the lift; also, G is the stock symbol for Gillette
Line 4: Refers to notation in the metric system, giga- or gram
