Thursday Morning Riddle
I’m the man coming home; I’m the back with the ball;
I come after you walk (which is after you crawl);
Politicians announcing they’ll answer the call;
And demands on a bank which can cause them to fall.
Who am I?
UPDATE: Riddle solved by Neel Mehta. See comments for answer.

I guess everyone is doing their errands on Thursday this week.
The answer seems to be RUN or variations thereof (-NER, -NING). I thought about adding another verse about tears in stockings, nasal output, errand boys, and 80’s rapping.

RUN is correct. Way to go, Neel!
Line 1: Baseball – a run scores; Football – to run instead of pass
Line 2: You must learn to walk before you can run
Line 3: To run for office
Line 4: A run on the bank
I really tried to get Joseph Simmons in there, but it was not to be.

I was not, unfortunately, running errands…I just found this week’s riddle particularly challenging. I was stuck on the football thing and, well…there ya go. Congrats Neel!
